The Best Wrinkles Cream

There are many different types of wrinkles cream on the market today.  Most will claim that they will moisturize and nourish your skin, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and improve your skin’s elasticity and collagen levels.  But will they work?

This is the question that most women (and yes, some men) ask every day.  With some many wrinkles creams to choose from, which anti wrinkles cream will work best and will work with their skin?  While important, these questions are not the first questions you should be asking yourself.

What you should be asking yourself is how you can prevent wrinkles from appearing in the first place!  This is because even the best wrinkle cream cannot repair every wrinkle nor get rid of every thin line that Mother Nature has so carefully worked for years to put on your face.  While you need to be using wrinkles reducing creams, you also need to be concentrating on preventing the wrinkles in the first place.  Here are a few sure-fire tips on how to keep those horrible wrinkles from every appearing (or at least not appearing quite as harshly) in the first place:

First, the best wrinkles cream is actually sun lotion.  Yes, I know how much you love your beautiful tan, but let’s face it – tanning by definition is bad on your skin.  Harmful sun rays blasting away at the collagen and elastin in your skin that keep (or tries in this case) your skin healthy, smooth, and strong.  To prevent this, you need to be wearing good sun screen everyday, especially when you are going to be exposed for extra-long time frames.  In addition, the UV rays actually speed up the aging process for your skin, so you need to be wearing hats, visors, and other protective clothing.

Second, use a good deep wrinkles cream everyday.  You don’t necessarily have to buy the most expensive wrinkles cream, but you should find a good one that will moisturize and rejuvenate your skin after a long, hard day.

Third, abstain from smoking.  Smoking will constrict the blood flow to the outer layers of skin, damage the collagen and elastin, and thus give you that old saggy, baggy look that you picture when you think of an old 90 year women smoking a cigarette on a cold day.  If you are a smoker, try to cut back, and talk to your skin doctor to see if he or she recommends a prescription anti wrinkles cream that you could use.

Finally, if you have severe skin problems, then you really should see a good dermatologist.  They will be able to help you come up with a skin care program tailored to your specific needs and recommend the best wrinkles cream for your situation.
