There are a few different names for the photo facial these include PhotoFacial, photo facial rejuvenation, ipl photo facial, and the photo facial treatment. These all are essentially the exact same thing just different ways of naming the treatment. The treatment is conducted by a trained medical professional. The procedure lasts around 30 minutes in time and is conducted by using a machine that emits intense pulse light that are designed to penetrate all the different levels of your skin. By doing this it causes the blood vessels and collagen of her skin to constrict. This is similar to Botox and other types of treatment that reduce fine lines around your eyes as well as your mouth.

It generally takes 4 to 5 of these treatments in order to get the full results and benefits.  You generally will wait around three weeks time between each of the treatments so you can expect the full treatment to take a few months before you are finished. After each treatment you may experience some redness on your skin but typically goes away within 24 hours and in most cases does not last more than three days. You should start to see a gradual reduction in the lines and wrinkles on her face within a week or two of each treatment. Some patients have experienced a small amount of discomfort during the treatment similar to a rubber band snapping against the skin. Obviously not something that would cause excruciating pain but enough to cause you discomfort.

You can expect to pay anywhere between $1500 and $2000 for all these treatments combined. So definitely not cheap, but at the same time not super expensive either. Some of the things that this treatment can help with besides the fine lines and wrinkles include its thoughts, broken blood vessels, sun damage, acne scars, and rosacea.
